Track Of The Day :: Purest - Forever

Words: Sam Geary

This really is a great track from Sheffield's PUREST. Out now through 25th Hour Convenience Store, 'Forever' melds shoegaze and noise rock into a perfectly formed disc-shaped, psych-influenced four-minute beast.

Produced by Gethin Pearson (JAWS, To Kill a King), 'Forever',
says vocalist/guitarist James Rollings, is a song "about coming of age, looking back on youth retrospectively and wanting to capture as much of life as possible during those formative years.’’

PUREST play Water Rats, London this Thursday (May 17).
